How can I Change My Flights on Air Canada Flights?

Trip schedules or travel plans depend on our conveniences, and sometimes we need to make changes to our travel or vacation plans. If you have already purchased a ticket, then those changes often come at a price. Often the changes can be made without any occurring fees, but this is not always possible. Check Air Canada policies before purchasing the ticket. It is a common mistake to be lured with the cheapest price, but when the changes of plans occur, we land up in shape at the end of the deal, with no refunds. Thus it is best to read the policies, and talk to the travel agent about, what happens if you need to change the flights or change the itineraries. This is a must update you should have before made the reservations.

Here is the step-by-step guide on how to change the flights with  Air Canada Flights.

STEP 1
First, go to the Air Canada Official Website. Now, click on the log-in link or an area for schedules and checking in. Even if you booked your flight through a third-party website, the changes should be made from the Air Canada official website.

STEP 2
Once you are done with logging-in, now retrieve your reservation information. Enter the information you have, namely the confirmation number, e-ticket or credit card number or mileage rewards number, if applicable, into the Air Canada Official Website. You will be able to see your itinerary.

STEP 3
Now make all the necessary changes to your Air Canada Flight. Keep the important information, namely confirmation, reservation or electronic ticket number for this process. In the Air Canada official website enter the required information. Find for the link to "schedules" or "itineraries" and check-in on the airline's site. You will be able to see the flight information and other itineraries up on your device. Air Canada will ask you to click on the flight number and then it asks you if you want to change the flight. Here is the option to make the change.

STEP 4
Change the flights instead of canceling it. By changing you can avoid the fees, which will be in cancellation or rebooking. Now search for new flights and add them to your itinerary. Find if there are a few charges associated with the change, which needs to be paid with Air Canada Airlines.

STEP 5
Get in touch with the travel agent. Perhaps, the might be able to make the changes to your flights without or least charges.

STEP 6

You can call Air Canada directly, and this is the best way to get the changes in unavoidable circumstances and avoid the penalties.  Depending on the reasons, the customer service will be able to waive off the charges. All you need is to be polite and honest to them and this will help to make the process easier.
